As I mentioned in another forum, I've mostly been a lurker with a few questions here and there. Thank you to the moderators on this forum for their help and patience.
I first saw UN on the back cover of a sports car magazine. It was a black/rose gold UN Diver with the wave pattern on the dial. I thought it was so unique and interesting. That's when I started reading forums and websites. What is Ulysse Nardin and I wonder how much they cost? Oh wow, ok forget the gold one! A little more searching brought me to the Blue Surf. Love the blue color, love the wave dial, and it comes in steel...but it was still out of my budget. In the near future I bought a pre-owned UN MMC 43mm which was more in my budget. Loved it and cherished it for 2 years. During that time I became a huge fan of the company and their time pieces. I was one happy customer.
After a few years of enjoying the watch hobby, a few watches bought and sold, I still kept thinking about that beautiful blue dial. It was apparent...I
needed that UN.
I found one on the used market and finally pulled the trigger. I had to let go of my beloved Marine Chronometer to make it happen, but I am very happy to finally have this one. Some people aren't attracted to some of the UN designs, but I think this one is a future classic.
I've had it now for a few months, but never got a chance to share it with the forum. Here we go...

Thanks for looking!
