But this one is BLUE !
Finally, after a quite long search for one with its dial in perfect condition, and also after the customs took their time deciding if they wanted to keep it or not (luckily it came with box and papers), I finally got my hands on this beauty. Got it inspected and switched the original navy blue alligator strap for this black stingray (I thought it gives good contrast with the color and pattern of the dial) and here it is !

To Dr Jekyll and Mr Enamel, aka GLau, am I allowed to the enamel club with this one ?
UN refers to the dial of this San Marco as « émail guilloché et flinqué », which means from my understanding that the enamel is applied to the pre stamped (hand made) guilloché dial usually made from gold or silver.

I was about to say "I've always wanted one of those blue UN San Marco watches, then I remembered that I basically have one (duh) although a bit heavier and more complicated.
I wonder if the Seiko guys a similar technique on this dial -- a bit darker blue, but still:

Your Acqua Perpetual is stunning ! Also the dial of the Presage is beautiful and reminds me a lot of the UN Classico Manufacture « Grand Feu » issued around 2017 if I’m correct

someone finally get what they have been searching for. You seem happy and that makes me happy for you. This is a watch that really started me on my collecting path years ago. It led me to become dear friends with Rolf Schnyder. He knew I loved my blue enamel dial San Marco watch so much that he said he would make me one, both case and bracelet, in white gold. I gave my original steel one to a dear friend. So this watch holds a special place for me. I’m sure you will love owning and wearing yours so much. Wear it joyfully and again many congratulations.

The Stingray strap is stunning! May I ask where you got it from please. Looking for a nice Stingray strap myself and that’s the best I’ve seen in my limited knowledge.

This one was sold new to a Japanese gentleman in 1994. Almost 30 years already !
There's lots of great blue dialed watches out there but when it comes to blue enamel guilloche it's hard to beat UN!

Thanks! That San Marco is actually my wife's but I had come very close to buying one for myself before acquiring some other UNs. Maybe I should buy her a nice strap for it for
her birthday? ;-) HaHa! I did end up chasing down that same bracelet for my blue 40mm Dual Time and ended up getting the very last one in UN's inventory (about 4 years ago).
I had the yellow gold, guilloche San Marco in blue, but didn't keep it, because the enamel was too thick and concealed the guillochage!
