If you can give us some idea of your budget, and your tolerance for switching lenses.
For example, my Sony RX10 mk IV is an excellent long-range camera for nature, and with care can do decent flowers but I have found it a bit large for watches.
This reviewer disagrees with me (maybe I need to read the manual...) and says it's the best in the world of its type

It isn't too heavy, it can be operated over your head with one hand (my requirement for use at car show press events) and the lens is awesome.
I have a Sony tripod as well, with a remote shutter operation, and there are MS and Apple apps too so you can run it from a phone or pad.
Mine is a $1750 US compromise camera -- now the "I CAN'T / WON'T COMPROMISE!" guys like Jocke can chime in!
