I see here a Man lost like a child during this hard and unbelievable time .
This is allegory showing completely vulnerable inner child.
Nowadays many grownups feel lost and lonely facing unknown.
This is my interpretation- because of coffee and cigarettes.

A large take away coffee would imply an early morning, too early for the sleepy-head... mom has already been to the corner shop... or yesterday's container as an ashtray...
