Been trying out a newly acquired fisheye lens of late

See, the reason I've generally not warmed to fisheye lenses is that they're typically used in a fairly gratuitous fashion, should that make sense. Unsure whether that's the correct word or not, but what I mean to say is that fisheye lenses often seem to be used purely for the sake of it where other lenses would be much better suited to the purpose at hand. The way you used the lens is bang on. A really nice range of colours you've captured, too. I'd be pleased with that image personally.

Holiday Inn Singapore
As esharp eluded to, it's the Holiday Inn Singapore.
Not the fanciest hotel, but the atrium looks great now.
Good location and excellent color...
While it's not a lens that I would use on a regular basis, I have seen some extremely well done shots with a fisheye... and therefore I would not discount this type of lens...
Photos that were about content not fisheye rendering... e.g. the Milky Way with old buildings, interiors, and very narrow canyons.
I look forward to seeing how your time with that lens develops... I think you have to experiment to get the most out of it... but I like what you have shown us here...

Sharp lens, unfortunately not very fast
