Well done on this one. I would dearly love to add one of these to my collection.
Would be interesting to test for radiation given it has its original lume,
Dean

Thanks to your images, I have even more respect now . . .

. . . for Zenith's modern interpretation, which was high to begin with.

For those that can wear one, the Type 20 just might be the ultimate mechanical wristwatch.

Cordially,

Art

Congratulations - on a great find!

This was exactly the piece the stepfather of my former girlfriend had. I remember the exterior and the 'Zenith' inscription, but I cannot recollect the 'MONTRE D'AERONEF ZENITH TYPE 20' - but its almost 15 years back…

I am curious as to the ticking sound of the clockwork - must have a deep timbre!

Use it in good health,
Magnus

That is super cool!

How is it displayed? Does it simply lay flat? or do you hang it?  Love the vintage look and unique mechanism.

Display

When i bought the clock it was housed in a custom made display, but it really doesn't match the look of the clock. I wish I had the originally square casing for an actual dashboard.

I may create a wooded box display or get a metal case fabricated.

Thanks and I am glad you like it.
