For unknown reasons my SS version gets lots more of wrist time but I love this one very much.

I did a review of my "El Primero New Vintage Titanium" some time back. Click here to see .

Today, with all Christmas chores done, I decided to wear it and with a good late afternoon light I took some pictures.

Here they are:

1) Wrapped on a device. Should I do a "What is it?" and "Who designed this device?"

2) Attached on another device. "What is this?".

3) A B&W that is mandatory

3) An old wrist shot, just to show the amazing proportions of the case (Black titanium, if you ask)

This Zenith is, IMHO, one of the best designed and unusual watches that I own.

Should I spend the Christmas night with it? Decisions, decisions ...

Was easy. 

Looks like it has never been worn. Looks stunning after almost 5 years. I do have a thing about Zenith's PVD coated titanium cases though in that the PVD coating does wear off rather fast around the edges as it brushes against shirts sleeves. I wish they would not use it anymore, and just developed black titanium. I sent mine to be re-coated, and got a negative from the Zenith service center in Shanghai. I'm glad that I live on a place and my business don't requires formal attire.

I never consider that this helps to preserve my single black watch.

About your question "Great designer but does he have to design everything?", I believe that the answer is "money talks ....".

Got this juice device on a flea market for a song. Later I realized that this was a Philippe Starck, it was Italian made and ... looks cool.

Of course, we never ever tried to extract juice using this, clumsy?, device.

That 40mm looks gorgeous on the black croc strap. Congratulations and welcome to the Type 20 Club!

Very much wanted the larger iteration .... unfortunately there was no way my puny wirst could carry it off ....

That dial , the hands & that crown .... Gorgeous !  The Elite 681 is not to shabby either

A dress variant suits me just fine and I can enjoy the Type 20 on my own terms !

The unknown reason why you more often wear the SS version...I had a feeling when I looked at the black titanium version... I wondered if I would not get rid of it too quickly...

Black case, darkened open dial ,well... I didn't feel comfortable with that, even if I must say that I find this one to be a cool Watch!

It's a limited edition to 250 pieces. 

It has to be kept and worn from time to time to appreciate.

For the Ti, I also consider that only 250 were made.

Even considering that I'm a lost case of a "flipper", this one will stay ... forever.

The overall design, combination, and execution are just phenomenal. And the skeleton dial adds lot of spices 😉
