New Patek 5070G!
Happy to announce my new Patek 5070G. Wanted to add a chronograph to my collection, and was going to go for the 5170G - but when I tried on, just didn't love it. Tried on the 5070G - and was turned... Wears amazing, and is a classic. I have only had it a few days, but of my collection seems like it can be used in casual dress... Jeans, shirt, etc. Which a 3940, 5110, etc just can't do.
Regardless, I am Happy to join the club! The 5070G is definitely a keeper.

You did well. Excellent decision. As for the casuality of the watch, I totally agree, too.
But the 5110 is also a polyvalent Watch, which can be worn on a jeans, or with a suit.

Congratulations on your 5070G! Curious to hear other's opinions of the casualness of the 5110. I've always thought it was a bit of a chameleon and could go formal, casual or anywhere in between.

Not too formal
I don't thnk the 5110g is too formal. It can go with jeans and a nice shirt. But it is more of a dressier watch, as are the perpetual calendars, compared to the 5070/5170
On my list...
great watch and I think you definitely made a very good choice. Classic now and timeless.
