Patek always manages to bring something interesting to its dials and 5167 is no exception… brown brings out the brown… but in the end there is no doubt on where it belongs - on the ever so comfortable and amazing looking tropical strap!

really like it on the brown strap!

Some of us buy Patek because it is unique. I love the fact that you have an alternative strap. I would change it up often. I'd probably keep my 5167 if I could change its straps often and easily. But yes it is a great design. 

I first saw a 5167R with a rose gold case with a chocolate brown strap.  Looked great.  

Did you use a tang buckle with that new strap or were you able to use the aquanauts deployant? Thanks!

unfortunately the Aquanaut deployant is not really suited for anything but its intended tropical strap unless one venture down the customized road… 

Maybe a brown tropical strap would be ok but the dial isn't as brown as the rose version.

So I say leave well enough alone, hard to improve on perfection that the tropical strap is.

anyone willing to do a  review on this watch. Please. There was one on PuristS site from 2008.  (Preety good one) but I can not find it any more.

I believe there is so much to say about 5167. It could really benefit all the Aquanaut lovers including me.

They are rare find and very appealing, a collectors dream.
