Update: 5059 or 5159....

A couple of threads down, I asked for some advice about 5059 vs 5159.....

Well, here is the result! I was afraid of the "hamburger effect", since the watch is relatively thick, but I am amazed how well it actually sits on the wrist. No hamburger issues at all!

5059 white gold was my first PC from patek. Got it late 90's and I continue to enjoy it today.

As a previous poster said, it's a patek at first glance and can be mistaken for nothing else.

5059 wrist shots

Here are my R & P. Personally I prefer 5059 to 5159 mainly because of their dial designs. The dial of 5159 is a bit busy and over-decorated. A "simple" dial IMO goes perfect with the officer case. I don't have any hamburger issue with my 5059s either because I have small wrists. They both sit well on my wrist.
