Indeed the thickness and lightness of the 5712 is something that seduces a lot, and it is finally what can best help choosing between a Nautilus version or another.
I appreciate this criterion everyday.
Thanks you very much for your words Moritz.

Mark
... wear it well and until now I must say I can't take it off my wrist more than 24h.
Nice to see how you share these feelings about this watch, thanks for your comments Bob
Cheers,
Mark
The 5980 is a great watch and another kind of Nautilus than the 5711 or 5712.
It's been 2 months sharp since I bought it and I still feel as the first day. I compeltly understand your feeling about a 2nd Nautilus here as I love them all.
Only you can let time going by and fix your thoughts !

It would be to hard for me to wait that long, but finally all come at once
Congratulations for your 5712 (and the "goodies" as well :p)!
The Nautilus is a beautiful watch and the 5712 is a jewel among this line.
Wear them in good health
Cheers,
Mark
It's been a little more than a month since I got it and I don't think I left it even once. Happy to see you too love it that much !
Thanks for your nice comments

Mark
Thank you for your words, it was a pleasure to share it with this community.
Concerning the waterproof issue, I've been told when I bought it not to swim with it nor to go in a sauna.
In fact you can have splash of water on it but it seems to be all.
Best,
Mark
May I ask if you considered the WG version of this and if so, what prompted you to get the SS version. I know of the point whereby this is a sports watch and hence it should be in steel so some feel but I am wondering if there were any other considerations for you seeing that price point in this case for SS and WG is not that wide.
Thanks in advance.
Arthur
Hi Arthur,
...and thanks!
Concerning the material, I really wanted the bracelet and not a leather strap. I really like also the Royal Oak for the design and, for the same reasons, I see the Nautilus only alltogether with its bracelet. Thus leading in looking to the SS versions only.
I didn't have in mind, at all, the issue concerning how SS would be more in phase with the sporty style of this watch, compared with gold. But I guess that, unconsciously, I know that Gold is quite fragile and heavy. This would have made me lean toward a SS material anyway as I'm wearing it as an every day watch.
Are you considering to purchase one in the future ?
Cheers,
Mark
Hello Mark,
I still have your 1815 and I am very happy with her.
Recently I have purchased like you a 5712 to replace my 5711 which I deemed too mere.
Best regards,
Henri
