Well, that's a tough question
On an aesthetical standpoint the unusual dial layout is definitely in commun.
As they also share the same 240, it is difficult to say they are not.
But the style of the rest of the watches (case+bracelet/strap) are definitely from 2 different worlds and hence they communicate something completly different.
As a Nautilus owner, I would say they are not cousins. But on a technical point of view some would be right to feel they are.
What's your opinion ?

Thank you for the in depth review to my 1st Patek.
I especially enjoyed the comparisons between the Patek and the Lange.
At the time of my purchase, I was moving back and forth between the 5712 and the Lange 1 Moonphase.
After much humming and hawing, I decided to go for the sportier one.
So far, I have not regretted my choice (though in the future, I may yet see a Lange to be added to my stable of watches!)
We had the same hesitations
