i have a relatively small wrist, so i think 5712r fits me better, its super thin too, however many friends suggested me to get a 5980r, its a better model to collect in terms of its complications..i'm really confused at this point, should i go for comfort over looks-complication or the other way around? coz honestly 5712r looks pretty amazing too, and its a lot cheaper than the other one, can anyone give me an input on this??? thanx 

You should go for the 5712. 

it could really lead to making a mistake if you follow it just because of the doubt you have now in mind.

You should really take your time trying them as often as needed, and if this is something you want to were often, don't be to influenced by the "intellectual" creterias...

Take your time but chose what you feel glad to see everyday, they are quite different watches, not so easily "switchable".

They have a totally different look and are quite different. I own a 5980r and prefer the layout of the dial and clean cool look of the bullseye Chrono. To each bis own though but I would make sure you try them both on and get a feel for each and take time really getting to know each piece at an AD before pulling the trigger! Best of luck....

coz you already said it looks pretty, you have small wrists, it's cheaper and fits comfortably on your wrist. And there's another important, if not the most important, question you should ask yourself -- who's going to foot the bill?

I think the 5980R is "top heavy" on the wrist and the 5712R sits much much better on my 7 inch wrist. That said the 5980 is STUNNING, but I do go for comfort in the long run.

if you want to go bold, do it all the way. But mainly because its chocolate dial is much nicer that the classic grey of the 5712R. It works much better with Rg. 5712A is the way to go IMO, if you want Rg, 5980 looks much better, and its a 5N rose gold, much nicer that the 5712... and with the rubber strap

But I admit that the brown dial on the 5980R is STUNNING!

I got the G which is well under the radar. I like the assymetric dial layout, the thinness of the case and the 3/4 rotor. If you want a chronograph look at the Lange 1815 Chrono, Datograph or back to the 5170.
