Patek Philippe

Hello All,
I am just new to this forum although i have been reading the items a lot and looking at the photos as well. I am the owner of a white gold Parmigiani Toric Chrono and a new Rolex GMT Master. I am about to expand my collection and it has to be a pink gold watch. I LOVE Patek Philippe but I want to make sure that i will buy the ''best'' watch i can afford. I am looking up to the 5159 which is around 50K EUROS. For me it is almost impossible to decide which watch to choose and also I look at Richard Mille, Journe, Lange as well.

How does Richard Mille,. Journe and Lange compare to Patek? What is your opinion about it. Should I go for a grande complication like the 5159 or is a 5135 in pink as desirable as well. I have quite a large wrist so many models from PAtek are just too small for me. I know it is difficult to answer my questions but maybe you could help me a bit.

is a Patek! That being said: you need to buy whatever puts the biggest smile on your face. Good hunting, Miki

is Patek 5960P.  All things considered possibly the best watch available.

And for the money you mention I would stay with Patek.

 

my personal opinion is to stay in Patek "house" .

I am collecting  watches since years....started with Daytona vintage....and finishing with ONLY Patek and one Breguet to satisfy my tourbillion needs!

Remember that Pateks are always increasing in the market ....look in Antiquorum world !

By the way .............buy always what you really like and is giving you joy in wearing at your wrist !

between a Patek and something else, I would always opt for a Patek. With your budget, you can get a pretty nice one but always, like everyone else has stated, buy what you like, what would make you smile each time you look at it.

I had your dillema recently and my search bought me to the Patek annual calender with moon 5135 which I consider perfect for a larger wrist with enough complications to keep you interested.

I highly suggest the 5960. I love the 5980 as well.

Thank you all for your comments. I dearly hope that the 5159 will come in pink gold. the 5960P is beautiful as well, but it is pink gold i am attracted to now and my Parmigiani is also a chrono. THANKS again.
