I had the great opportunity to try the 5236! The complication- in line perpetual calendar- is wonderful and the blue dial is really lovely.
But I do feel that it is somehow too big for my wrist and, bottom line, it did not click to me...

If it didn’t click for you then you made absolutely the right choice to walk away.
But, from a size perspective, I think it looks fine on you in the pictures given that;
- wrist shots always exaggerate the size of a watch;
- it looks like the watches are being held against your wrist, rather than properly fitted to your wrist;
- 41mm is not that big and the lugs are not even close to the edges of your wrist, so, for me, it looks perfectly proportionate on your wrist.
I’m biased, but my preference is for the blue one.

How do you compare and contrast the blue vs salmon ?
Blue hands down
Apart from dimensions, the blue dial is absolutely stunning, with its jeans/satin effect, shading from light blue to dark. Salmon is very "flat", not even comparable to the salmon of the 5320, which remains my favourite, actually
In my opinion, you made the right call!
I tried it on recently and did not fall in love with it - felt large and slab sided. And you really ought to be in love for $150k. I do not think that 40-41mm is necessarily too big for a dress watch, but the case styling made it feel big. To me it felt inelegant.
I also do not care for watches that are on the larger end of the spectrum.
Saw the same one yesterday in the Patek boutique window.
Nice looking. Just cannot make up with the idea that not so long ago one could get two and half new Patek retrograde PCs for the msrp of this PC…
