But my personal choice without a moment's hesitation would her 5050. Full perpetual with moonphase, retrograde date and sweep seconds. And (at least at this point in time) vastly under appreciated and undervalued. And to my eye, exceptionally beautiful.

not the most incredible watch but quintessential Calatrava and they size is perfect IMO.

If I have to pick one between these two, I'd say 5196 as it is simpler and "less is more".

excellent choices. I've been a big PC fan and luv my 3940J, 3940G, 5140G and 5050J, can't get enough of PC LoL
over the years, I like simpler calatrava like the 5196, 570, 2508/9. If I could only keep one Patek, it would be 5050. Mech Happy New Year and Mery Xmas

As for the 2508, I think I haven’t payed enough attention to this reference: I love the case profile and will try to see it in the metal.
