Shiny Champagne Strap for my 5088p
So after royal blue and chocolate brown now the third edition of an original PP strap for my beloved 5088p which turns out to be a strap monster. I know that some here were curious to see the outcome of the champagne strap - I love it as well and believe that now I do have a great variety for this dial.

That's right, now that the 5088 is no longer available at ADs for new allocations, it could be interesting to start an official roll call along with the various strap choices for it! :-)
It probably won't be able to compete with Keks' epic 5960 thread (😂), but for this to be a Rare Handcraft, I bet we can reach an important number among our members --- maybe up to 10, inclusive of both versions (5088/100P and the earlier 5088P)??

It was *not* on the latest run-out/discontinued list, but I think I can say that -- with the exception of the last few pieces that have already been produced -- it's no longer possible to make new orders of this reference ;-) Hope this answers.
I was expecting it to be taken off of the website earlier this year, but I really have no input over that. I bet it will be gone soon though ;-) Cheers.

Mr. Thibert is a legend in the world of Rare Handcrafts and specifically hand-engraving, but he retired from Patek over 15 years ago, so all the newer dials are definitely authored by his successors at the Brand :-) Cheers.
PS: I can ask about locations if it makes sense, but I wouldn't be surprised if more work than before is now done 'in situ,' at PP6 -- that was in fact a goal of production in general, and the 4th floor is specifically devoted to Rare Handcrafts👍

I'll certainly ask this summer and share what I can👍Locations aside, as always I'm not sure which other details it will be possible to make public (e.g., sometimes I myself am not even aware of production numbers, except for the past two years)…
BUT it is a most appealing topic, and I think we can proudly say that, in recent years, our forum has been one of the main online resources on Rare Handcrafts (including our popular live announcements, courtesy of Patek!😄). Hence the more I'll be continue to be able to cover for our members, the happier I am!😄
