Thanks Filip, two pieces from different (both current, in-catalog) collections, but indeed the same Rare Handcraft techniques are featured in this beauty and in my 5088/100P -- hand-engraving and Grand Feu enamel! ;-)

After the engraver finishes his work on the while gold base of the dials, the same are then filled in with black enamel to complete these masterpieces!
These are indeed remarkable Pateks, in my view they simply represent the highest possible encounter between art and horology --- I sincerely wish you to be able to include this marvelous 5738/51G into your personal collection, Sir! ;-) Cheers.
I can see you’re (back) to your wonderful gilded island…if I didn’t have two more weeks of (crazy) work before Thanksgiving, trust me that I’d reach you in a second my friend!😂😉🥂
;-)) I will, it's WAY too long since I visited California (I believe last time was to give some talks at UCLA, which was years ago! ;-) Time flies always REALLY fast wherever I am, now it's 2 weeks to the Thanksgiving break, and then 6 to...Italy! :-)
+1! Or also, there's another nice city that as soon as I'm retired from academia (or at least from the teaching/administrative duties!), I'm going to visit MUCH more often than I do today.....oh yes, Geneva!! ;-)))
I was complaining to a friend and member on this forum that I see him more often in Switzerland and Dubai than I see him in the States. Despite both of us living in the States. But I'm bound to have to make a trip to Boston someday! I actually miss Boston Common - I actually like the park quite a bit.
Although, I was joking once a long time ago. I said as a joke that it would be a privilege to live there and that it'd be one of the best neighborhoods in San Francisco if it was developed for residential construction. Imagine if some developer bought the island and built villas there. The HOA would cost a fortune (assuming that the HOA would have to have a boat shuttle service to the mainland). Plus, there'd need to be parking on the mainland for the cars of the owners (on the island, only golf carts would be used). I'd like a little villa on the West side of the island with a view of the bridge please. But I'd have to win the $1.9 Billion lottery in order to afford it. Low crime too (ironically)! And prime waterfront property!
