First time for posting for my modest collection
I had been a long time outside observer in this site and seeing the beautiful pictures of watches from others and got inspired.
Since I have to admit in the psychology terms that the nature cause of human has a desire for self approval or heighten desire for self recognition, but it is only fair that I should let others know and to show my modest and humble collection of my Patek to commemorate okumangoe collection.
(Not to brag and boast but to enjoy sharing with others)
I had only started to collecting a few years ago when my business was growing in JPN and was able to spare a little more time and money for the collection.
Thanks to my AD and my good luck,I was able to buy them most of it at retail price or close to retail for the discontinued ones (3800j and 5065j) before the corona despite of the crazy hike in the prices as of recent days .
I never think the way that it was a investment for the money, but rather pure joy of owning the beautiful pieces for the healing of my soul
during tough times.
Especially during the period of Corona pandemic, it helped me from mental depression a lot since I can only stay home and no traveling world wide that I used to do.
But more surprisingly it turned out to be the best asset investment next to Tesla shares.
My only wish is to cherish and enjoy them for the rest of my life and pass on the treasures to my next generation.( My children says they rather want Apple Watch now 😭)

That is one of the reasons why this hobby fascinates me so much.
Aside from the fact that some watches are real works of art for the wrist that you can (theoretically always) carry with you, and apart from the anachronism of mechanical watches in our digitized world in general, a watch always reminds me that our time is limited and we have to be careful with it.

Modest collection? 😆 You are too modest!
I would say that to be a humble Patek collector's collection, which is very different to a mere collection.
5231 and 5170 for me!
First of all, a sincere welcome and Thank-You for joining our forum! You have a remarkable Patek collection, which you should be proud to have put together and to now thoroughly enjoy!
Like you said, the important thing is that these beautiful objects (and, sometimes, artworks) bring us joy and pleasure! The fact that you were able to obtain most of these marvels from your AD also speaks volumes about your quality as a collector and connoisseur!

I hope to see more of your rare handcrafts because it really inspires me a lot. I think they are heritage produced by craftsman ship because of the baking each model is different from one another , and you are the owner on one particular unique piece in the world 👍
My sincere pleasure to share, Rare Handcrafts are indeed one of the corners of Patek's production that I am madly in love with, because of the unique marriage of art and horology that they represented at the highest possible levels! ;-)
No two Rare Handcraft dials are of course equal, almost by definition, which makes them even more personal and special to a collector's eyes! ;-)
You have such a nice collection that it would make sense for you to request Patek an out-of-catalog Rare Handcraft for yourself I don't have a timeline yet, but I hope we can announce the 2022 RH models later next month, with the beginning of Watches & Wonders. On that day, if you see something that you like, you could ask your AD to put in an application for you....every year, a few dozen people around the world get lucky, and given your sincere passion, I hope you can be one of them! ;-)

You have a collection that most collectors would salivate over… there are the sports references, a cloisonné world time, and chronos!! A lot of people would be happy with just one but you have a range of references that are the most sought after!! Simply AMAZING!! Congrats and wear them in good health!! 🤗

Yes I totally agree that everyone is like a child. Each has its own story for acquisition and development.
