Yes, yes, yes! :-) A Patek at this stage of your "collecting career" would be a terrific and very natural choice my friend -- please keep us posted on this fascinating process....and enjoy each minute of it!! :-)
However the fact I currently have no relationship with a PP AD is kind of discouraging me to start the process … but we’ll see
A good thing about Patek is that, despite it being THE top brand, at virtually every AD it is possible to buy SOME good piece (unlike e.g. Rolex, etc.)…obviously not all the Pateks you want at first, but chances are you might find something you like!😉👍
