Amazing 6000G China RG edition you have there! I love the fact that the dial look like the car speedometer (or me imagining it). It looks classic from far especially the 4.30 subdial. I own a small collection, will glad to post it up later π
Welcome to our forum! This is one of the modern Calatrava references that you can view as "transition models," between the more classical versions and the new generation of this line, which Patek has recently begun to unveil.

I like the versatility of your 6000G and also the originality of its dial -- I'm sure you'll be able to enjoy this reference thoroughly on many occasions! ;-) Have a great time on WatchProSite.
It is my first Patek, and hopefully many more to comes π

Thank You! You pointed it out correctly. Cannot agree more. The bridge between classic and modern. I enjoy the comment, pictures and review here on WarchProSite. Hope to learn more on watches here. π
When I first started looking at high horology timepieces, I decided I wanted a watch with a date, micro rotor automatic, and a less stoic design. I discovered the 6000G with black dial and decided I liked it! I was a student then, so I decided I'd save up for the watch. However, at the time I could afford it, they offered it in a grey and a black dial, I was stumped, they both looked good. Ultimately, I ended up acquiring a different Patek Philippe that met my requirements, but wow, I do consider the 6000G the one that got away! Not everyone likes the way the date is laid out. Most people don't like it and say the date clutters the dial. But I say, "I LIKE IT!" I guess we're both a little weird. A watch should be a polarizing piece. This one is!
Yes it is full of numbers and some call it crowded dial but when you see it in person, it just have a touch of classic in it especially the subdial. The watch case fits so well on the wrist. Can't ask more for the movement, micro rotor and overall a well decorated movement. Cannot agree more, a watch should be a polarising piece!
