I know the seller very well and Infact this gentleman has sold one box earlier for same price .
Of course I can't draw any conclusions from a picture, but in these cases I'm never shocked when the provenance is "unknown"...;-) Does the seller give any info? Not sure whether to hope that it's real or fake..;-) [nt]

Hmm..
I just thought it's fake luking at that condition. I mean have you seen the condition of some of the 6263s some are offering- they luk fully refurbished. When the mkt price goes x10 above production costs there are enuf artisans to fill that gap.
Also totally possible, I don't have the expertise but I'm sure a vintage Rolex expert would tell quickly. Either way, hard to see a good deal (or a good reason!) for a buyer here..;-) [nt]

Seriously, it's no doubt an irrational market, but these estimates are *way* below previous cork box sales, so expect wonders...;-)

Agreed! Patek should revert back to that shape of boxes and ditch the current coffins they give
The current cuff link boxes are ideal size !
