let's put it this way...
... we know it will have a pdk gearbox. IMO, it will be an improved version. Add to it the specs of the 991, enhance it, basically, it should be the best porsche ever, on the pure side point of view.
The turbo will always have the latest tech evolutions, the 4W directional is a real novelty and surely a plus in handling. But from a mechanical point of view, power is coming from turbo's, it will never be the same as pure power coming from pure mechanics
So, big dilemma in choosing between the new 991 turbo and the new gt3.
The mind will say turbo, for the daily use, the comfort, the power, the 4wd, the 4WDirectional, and for the ease of exploiting all that.
The heart will say gt3, because its pure and closer to the spirit of what a real sports car should be: Emotions
I think i might take the gt3, when it comes to triggering when i hesitate, and think about the compromise and the best overall decision, there is always a little voice inside me that whisppers " if you wanna do things, do them right", in this case, no compromise: GT3.
Now we never know, all those nice words might vanish the moment i test drive the Turbo)

Yes, the list is way too long, but I used to think I had to singlehandedly support the state of California DMV.
Although she is VERY patient, I must say Mrs Cazalea said NO WAY when I brought this puppy home ...
and its 40 feet and almost 40,000 lbs cracked the driveway. :-(

Since 1995 I own an Audi (A3, A3T ..... A4T).
I don't need anything bigger, faster or comfortable.
Call me lazy but I keep buying Audi because I don't need to think when I am inside one.
I may not continue with Audi based on the absurd number of speed cameras that we have here (60 Km/hour!).
Other car on the house:
My wife drives a Suzuki SUV and, since I live in a place with "rotation" (you cannot drive your car one day/week) we also have a Hyundai I30 that is shared by us.

I believe traffic laws are necessary for our safety and sanity (rules and laws in general ...)
But very often I have to suspect many of them, and their enforcement, is mainly revenue generators for the government disguised as safety guidelines...

Here is not a matter of "suspect" ...
It's a fact.
Most common cheat is to drop, from 60 to 40 and hide a speed camera.
To me this negates the security because one needs to divide the driving attention between the road and the speed cameras.
But, despite of that, life goes on.

I'm lucky enough to currently own one of my dream vehicles
My Land Rover Defender 90:
There is so much I love about the Defender. I like that the Land Rover lineage is clearly represented by it. In some ways it is as primitive as the originals were back in the late 1940's yet having a modern engine and suspension makes it far more livable. Little things like being able to actually hit freeway speeds come in handy in our modern world.
To my eye it is still one of the most beautiful cars ever built. As they were built in larger numbers than the Ferrari this car is a bit more achievable with regards to availability and price. While I have never had the opportunity to sit in one I suspect that the experience would result in the car remaining forever on the fantasy list. At 6'2" I suspect that I'm too tall to fit in it and still be able to operate the controls. Perhaps someday I'll have the opportunity to find out.
If the garage in my building had a bit more vertical clearance I might actually own one right now.
Lots of horsepower, and the plow blade would come in handy for clearing a route on rush-hour freeways..........

All in a car that can seat 4 adults in reasonable comfort. Yet, while it can seat 4 the coupe discourages it by only having two doors. Then there are the lines. Elegant and somewhat understated yet aggressive at the same time. Did I also mention that it is supremely comfortable as well? Oh, it is also on the fast side.

With a 4 cam V-12 engine in a classic 1960's body, for me it is the ultimate Ferrari. Since they only built 10 they are quite rare and as a result when they come up at auction they tend to command very high prices. The odds of my ever owning one are nearly nonexistent.

The best I've ever owned are a GT3RS and R8.
Although the Cayman R and Boxster Spyder are certainly 'drivers' cars as well.

Porsche 911, the perfect machine.
Always have dreamed about driving a white GT3, of course the 4.0 would be more than a dream, would call it Nirvana.
There are many cars out there that are very attractive, but none like the 911, to me.
I guess I would be VERY happy with a 991. Ok, and a Smart Fortwo Brabus Xclusive Cabrio to move around the city "in style".

There are many other cars I would like to drive sometimes, driving could be a pleasure and that's a fact.
The 2002 is giving me some headaches, I guess there is rust in the fuel tank, and two fuel pumps are gone already 
I always refill full tank at the petrol station, so some very old dirty on the tank walls must be floating and breaking my pumps. After christmas (now VERY busy), I have a lot of work to do cleaning the tank and replacing the pump again. Hope it will run ok after that, it's very annoying not to trust the car you are driving.

This is the problem, with these old ladies...
I have a problem with the Servo Brake, which I have to replace or repair... I will solve that issue, but it takes a lot of time ( 2 months, already ), which empeaches me to register the car, as I can't do the Technical Control with flaws on the brakes...
Though, I drive it, but carefully.
I also have to have a look at the injection, too...
But that is the inner charm of these cars: They require attention, love and a lot of patience...
