The rotaries are strong and fast but quite troublesome. I spent half hour last night trying to help a buddy resolve some issues on his RX-7. I think he has had at least 10 Mazda rotaries - I’ve just had one, very briefly.

was a mind blowing race car! Little ole Mazda took that engine design further than any other manufacturer.
...my grandfather had a coupe version, not this sporty model. It was a manual transmission, and I remember it being a very quiet car. It had a big enough trunk to carry two golf bags : )
