Finally! Here are the pictures new 2019 Mercedes CLS
This new 2019 Mercedes CLS is Mercedes's 3rd generation CLS and go on sale in the US in the Fall of 2018.
Engine-wise, Mercedes says it features a new "inline six-cylinder engine and is the first vehicle in the Mercedes-Benz lineup with 48-volt technology with ISG that offers increased efficiency and comfort."

Also, another highlight is this new CLS will seat 5 passengers now.
I know some of you have been waiting to see this new CLS, so what do you guys think?

I’m not a fan of drooping rear end designs and MB seems to go in this direction...
for all their C, E series, just like those VW CC 😭

I saw it during a Munich event back in July but had to sign non disclosure agreement, love it 😍 but was hoping for more power.

The McKinsey project Jag Fighter (first gen CLS) seems to have had a great career at MB. The only issue I have with this 3Gen one are the headlights. With the DLR only on it looks too much like an Opel Insignia. Apart from that, the question remaining is when is the Shooting Break arriving? 
I like the design 👌🏻 but like others i need to get used to the headlights .
Maybe after a while i find it more attractive .

Now, her first generation CLS is how the back should look like. Why mess with perfection?

Aesthetic consensus is quite clear
Not many people are fan of the exterior design. It looks like a mix between a gen 1 CLS and a CLA... no personality

I searched for months to get just the right W219. Finally found my 2011 CLS63 AMG, 6 States away.
I haven’t really liked any of the Merc bodies since then. Now, however - I see the front of the new CLS, and I’m impressed. Then I look at the back, and I’m less impressed. Then I see that it’s going to have an IN-LINE 6!? WTF...

Somehow I connect this headlight design with the Mustang ...
... and for me, it appears strange on that Mercedes.

As the owner of a 2009 CLS550...
I was disappointed with the CLS starting in 2012. The new design removed the sweeping almost spaceship like appearance. The 2019 model IMO recaptures some of the sporty appeal of the original CLS. I agree that something is missing, but it is still greatly improved over the current model. Hands down, the interior wins over all previous versions. Certainly a car to consider!
