I find this watch for over 10 years, and finally my dream comes true. This is a REAL masterpiece.

What an elegant looking watch on your wrist. Congratulations on your new acquisition and thank you for sharing your pictures. How difficult was it to find the watch?

We see on the dial one usual feature on Roth's watch: the 3 bladed second hand.

On your second pictures. The watch has many marked sectors on the lower half of the dial. What do those 3 rows of markings indicate. Retrograde seconds ?

On your 5th picture. My guess is those dials are at the back of the watch. Am I right ? So to read the date and PR, you would have to look behind the watch ?

Where to go if this watch needs servicing ? Some members mentioned that the watch company no longer exist.

was that I DECLINED one that was offered new by a dealer at a "good price".

I was already committed to two other celebratory watches for the current Mrs MTF and me, so could not take up the Daniel Roth.....aaaarrrghhh!

That is why we have the saying: "MIMO"  (Miss it...Miss out)  [sigh]   

Still, we have great joy to see other PuristS still finding little treasures!

I don't have this watch but I like its use of 3-display arcs and the big moon is very appropriate for this month on the lunar calendar......       My lanterns will be ready.

That is an absolutely gorgeous watch you have there.  Wear it in the best of health!

It's such a shame that Daniel Roth no longer exists as brand in its own right... but, such is the way in the watch industry, I guess.  Makes me thankful I have mine!
