is a wonderful story because includes Hong Kong and a family memento.

I love HK for several reasons, the people, food and, in special, because it was there that I got my first serious watch.

yep, thats what i was referring too Art, but its obviously just an english thing. the TV ads for dulux paint always have a big fluffy old english sheepdog in them. they are pretty much known as the dulux dog now.

. . . but haven't worn it for years.  The last time it was on my wrist, pplater had initiated a "wear your smallest watch" thread.  The Dulux was duly strapped to my wrist, only to stop several hours after a full wind.  I never bothered to take it back to the watchmaker, and it's been sitting in the watch box ever since.

Is that a porcelain dial?

it certainly looks like it, but i personally think its better. its Eglomise which is reverse painting on glass. in this case its reverse painted on 0.4mm sapphire.
all done by hand by the one man team that makes up Angular Momentum.

i love chinese porcelain, but since i've sold my complete collection i'm itching for some more. this is the closest i could come in a watch i could 'just' afford.

i need a plate to go with it now.
