I just finished making my selection.

First, I must say it was a quite difficult task as many purists have really well played the game and created a nice fruit setup for their watches.

It made my choice even more difficult, in particular concerning Nilo's "lemons" Zenith, Anders' "chestnuts" Longines, Matts' "strawberry" Sub GMT, Fernando's "grenadine" (?) Daytona, TBean's "dry fruits" Tudor and Ludi's "apple and clementines" Seiko.

After a long while, I finally chose to decide between Nilo's beautiful colors, matching so intensely with the yellow chrono's second hand and Anders' warm and dream-like picture we could easily imagine standing near the fireplace while it's snowing outside.  Two great color combinations and picture setup.

Finally, as I had to pick only one, I felt that the more I was watching them, the more the power coming from Nilo's picture was energizing in the cold weather we are now starting to feel in the northern hemisphere.

Thanks for the honor and I wish to thank the purists for all the efforts we could feel from the pictures that were posted.

I especially enjoy Mark's decisions.  He has a special touch when he shares his thoughts and feelings with us . . . I almost feel that he's here in the room with me when I read them.

The decision for Wrist Scan was in delivered in error (Anders' Longines pic, naturally!), and I've sent a request to ianny for a revised verdict.  The final two decisions should be received shortly.

... because the picture is not as perfect as I would have liked. Just imagine the lemons radiating the same rich yellow as the gold GP watch and you will see what I had in mind. But always with photography it is about the light, and it wasn't on my side.

But thanks for the honour and it seem somehow fitting to have Zenith and GP chronographs side by side on the masthead.

To the judge.

I had a hard time to locate any fresh fruit in my house when I landed on those citric selection.

My wife, the "supplier" of fresh fruit was sick last week and she didn't went to the organic market.

She recovered and this week we have a much better set of fresh fruit to choose.

Watch of the week for me is clearly Nilo's El Primero for not only the stunning watch, but the fruit and composition - just beautiful. The yellow hand accenting all the citrus was the icing on the cake. It had tough competition, as flamenco's Fifty Fathoms, and the way it picked up all the green around it, was super. Same with Nicolas' AP, tonally paired with the figs perfectly. MattS Rolex romp with the strawberries was another, and watchfred's Breitling on deep red was wonderful.

Tough call!

Thanks for performing community service on such short notice!  I realize the theme shot was the one you favored, but since it's already been honored for Static Photo, the wrist shot has been chosen to represent the WotW category.

Is not "ultra thin".

It sports a solid 44mm case and houses a classic El Primero 400Z, date at 4:30 thank you Zenith,

I'm in love with it and I'm honored to have two pictures of it selected this week.
