The repetitive success of some participants is a testament not only to their ability, but also to the integrity of the Purists performing community service. The point of joining in the weekly thread is not to "win", but rather, to become a part of the community. Membership, in turn, is fulfilled by appointment to the bench, and hopefully, everyone perceives the appointments as fair and impartial.
Fairness, in its turn, resides in the judges, and not the results.
For those who look upon the thread as a competition, I can only say, "Try harder next time."
And, for those who view the thread as it was always intended - an opportunity to share both our watches and ourselves - you have my sincere appreciation.
