. . . that's an incredibly gorgeous specimen. I've seen a few Conquests of this era in the metal, the most interesting being an original black dial in a steel case. Very impressive . . .

Thanks for the nice words. When I began my watch collecting, my interest fell to the Longines Conquest. Especially before 1960. They have, in my opinion, details that I enjoy. I'm looking for one with a black dial, but they are not easy to find. I've seen...
