. . . achieving double digits in four categories of scoring (out of five possible). Well, we now have a "quadruple" score on Wrist Scan!
"Art,
I want to thank all of the PuristS for the fabulous submissions. Some very classic and beautiful watches this week (and one ridiculous looking arachnoid critter!!).
The choices are purely subjective and there are many worthy entires... but 1st place is awarded to Kyle L's Omega Seamaster. The watch itself is perfectly suited to this week's theme, and the photograph sublime. Well done Kyle!
Other entries I closely considered were Milan's 1953 LeC Baron, Nilo's E871, and AndrewD's La Tradition and cufflinks. A few years ago I met Bill Clinton at an AP event and wore a carbon Alinghi; if ever in a similar position it seems there are many PuristS I can call upon for something more appropriate.
Thanks again,
Michael"
There you have it, folks - a sweep by Kyle
and Omega in both categories.
Well done, Kyle, and thanks to both our esteemed judges this week for verdicts well rendered. I have to agree with Arthur regarding Static Photo, but Anders' Longines photo . . .
. . . just edged out Kyle's by its panoply of colors.
Have a good week ahead, and hope to see you all next Friday for another edition of Wrist Scan.
Cordially,
Art
