I'm in a bit of a quandary because doubleup's submission technically isn't a wrist shot . . .



. . . so I'm going to play it safe and call it my favorite in both categories ;-) . . .

This weekly challenge is fun and we have the opportunity to see amazing great watches.

One suggestion:

That the participants should show the "making of" for the selected pictures.
This "behind the scenes" will bring surprises and extra fun.

Others have mentioned this idea before, but it would be interesting to canvas Purists opinion on the feasibility of this. Somewhere to present watch images and discuss watch photography techniques.

Unfortunately all I have learned about photographing my watches will be exhausted in one post (!) but I would love to learn from you all.

Congratluations on the great image, Nilo. I have a similar hand wind El Primero and I would be proud to take a photo of it like that.

. . . syndetically enhances the visual effect of your AP's star wheel configuration; also, the orientation of both are closely aligned, which makes for a very compelling image.

Of course, if this was all by accident, then I would have to agree with your assessment ;-) . . .
