The Kalpagraph is as original as it is beautiful.

Was very tempted, past year, to add one Parmigiani in my collection, and will certainly do it.

Parmigiani launched Kalpagraph 2 years ago. Mine is the steel version, but you should go for the white gold version. The dial is different , it has blue combination instead of red in steel version. The chronographs buttons are smaller than the steel version and rectangular shape. If not, you can go for the new Pershing ,not the limited edition. Excellent for diving can go up to 330m and it's very very comfortable wearing it. It tried Pershing recently, it fits nicely to my wrist. Btw thanks for the compliment. I put up a pic of the Kalpagraph movement ( bad pic was in hurry )

I fell under the charm of this Hemisphere...Which is also a TZ watch, a friendly complication.

I'm not very fan of the Persching, which is a bit too far from what I'm looking for re to a Parmigiani watch.

Another competitor is the Kalpa 8 Days...

Too many watches.

Yup.. hemisphere is more elegant and classic  . There's a post of a hemisphere watch in this thread by 'scfong' .

The hebdomaire collection (the 8 days) was my first choice for Parmi watch back then. That time the AD advised me to go for the Kalpagraph as it was a new collection and also looked good on me. 

Mr. Michel Parmigiani was wearing hemisphere when I met him last year. I have the pictures with Mr. Parmigiani and a friend of mine. The pictures are not so clear, hopefully you can see the hemisphere on Mr Parmi hand. We were all wearing Parmi watch. Me (kalpagraph), Mr Parmi (hemisphere) & my friend (kalpa XL)

Hey Art.. In terms of the timing performance, it's not up to the class of a chronometer watch. May be it's because I don't wind or put the watch in a winder when I don't wear it. But then Kalpagraph is still a good watch. Sporty yet still has the classic look.
