I have totally nothing with fishing.

My latest catch was my Frederique Constant FC810 monolithic.
At an AD a lady rejected my request to buy the FC810 which they had in stock, but was reserved by a customer already. Stupid was that i had bought a watch earlier at their store, so i felt no rush to go on with them.
So i found another AD who was friendly and polite to sell me my latest catch.
The downside is my next watch can not be done there, cause they have not so many brands in their store. But i felt well treated. I will recommend others when they search something in the affordable price range, Oris, Longines, TH, Breitling, FC, Meistersinger, and i guess Seiko.
I hoped they did Omega, Cartier, UN, Zenith and something exclusive like Czapek.
IWC is always alright.

It certainly looks good on your wrist.

40mm is perfect for my wrist.
While it fit perfect, i can wear it all day and it became a daily beater, or better said zoomer.
Dangerous is the way my Frederique Constant is telling me no more watches needed.
By accident an exit watch.
I need a green dial watch, so i can delete exit.
A 41mm Omega Globemaster is on top of my list. I need an annual calendar or perpetual calendar, while i have already a quartz driven perpetual calendar.



Not two, but i have three blue dialers to rotate.



The back of the FC810 is interesting while there is no balance to see.

The Omega Globemaster would be a good choice., I was looking at this watch last week.

Technologically one of the most interesting pieces of the last years IMHO. How’s the accuracy? Nice WS 👍🏻

And you wear it very well!! 🙏

Is it an automatic movement or to wind manually?

Love this hat - it’s a Lock & Co Napoli hat - made from sisal. They don’t make this particular one any more - so it’s been back for life-support treatment once after being sat on 😂

But it’s hopefully just a matter of time 😊

I have the prior re-edition which didn’t have the Broad Arrow hour hand. This one is smaller, thinner and a manual wind, compared to the automatic 2013 edition.

I’m looking forward to the 350th anniversary of Lock & Co in 5 years. Can’t be too many shops that have been around for that length of time!

My latest catch is also my favorite watch! Perhaps this is how it should be until a new latest catch takes center stage😊.


7 days from now the catch is jumping in my boat I guess you could say. The catch is in fact flying with the watchmaker (and fellow WPS member) to deliver it by hand in my city. Very exciting times!




Lastly, not a recent catch by any means, but since you mentioned fish I figured I’d throw in this!

Excellent catches

It’s very cool.

The photo is from an excellent Japanese photographer named Hiro (I know that doesn’t help much). My main contribution was putting my Rolex on top of the photograph and play with Photoshop a little so it blended better.

It’s been a long time since a time-only watch gave me so much pleasure!
