. . . to blomman!
"Dear Art, hello anaesdoc!
Here is my judgement for this week's WS Static Image.
My main emphasis was on the photographic quality & composition, a bit less on the the watch itself, although there were a number of samples, as always a pleasure.
Runner up and second rank goes to pplater with the marvelous pic of the bit eclectic, splendid Jacquet Droz . . .
. . . an
en face shot with a little symphony of blue background, white symbols, and red accents. And a superb watch, also.
My kudos for this week and winner of the Static category for our friend blomman with a superb pic of the GP 1966 . . .
. . . on stony ground: sharp pic and an elegant composition with slightly shallow angle for his crisp, but also mellow tonality for the noble white enamel dial rose gold GP; also a splendid, lively background with small pebble stones delivering a formidable bed for his tic tac jewel!
Very well done, gentlemen!
Best,
hs"
While your judgement is appreciated as always, h, it's your criteria - weighing aesthetic considerations foremost - that I'm most grateful for. That is the preferred approach when it comes to the Static and Wrist Scan categories.
