Thank you Montblanc and PuristSPro for a wonderful presentation and dinner last night.  My son Josh and I were honored to have attended.

The presentation of the watches, the dinner and most of all the people were fantastic.  It is nice to actually meet people from this forum in person.

Just stepped off the plane and finally home sweet home.

What a wonderful relationship you have with your son...I meant what I said during my presentation,  I am truly envious and hope that my son will one day share this passion with me.

and PuristPro for putting together a very informative event.  Mike, I can see why you are so enthusiastic about the brand.  They are clearly very passionate about watchmaking and is going about it the right way, building a solid foundation for the future. I really enjoyed speaking to the Minerva watchmaker at the event, who is a great ambassador for the Minerva institute.  He is forthcoming, informative, and very passionate about the ART of watchmaking.  The Minerva watches presented are very impressive in person, much more so than the pictures on the forum.  The finish on the movements is spectacular.  The Rieussec watches shown at the end of the event are also very well made and, I think, very competitive at their price point.  Did they secretly slip some Coolaid into our drinks? 

Mark, it was wonderful to see that your son is also interested in horology; I hope that my sons will one day share my interest as well.  I also enjoyed meeting some of the Purists there; unfortunately, I did not get a chance to meet everyone.  Next time ...

as well as the restaurant, La Grenouille (fantastic food and setting with staff to match), for a wonderful evening. It is always a pleasure meeting other forum members and sharing the passion. Montblanc has come a along way in a short time and has clearly demonstrated that they are committed to excellence, and innovation while preserving the watch as an art form.

Whenever I attend a PuristSPro meeting, I'm always astonished by the wonderfully delightful people that all share this common bond towards watches.
