Ok, let me share my fears with you... I own the Patek 5110. If I go for this one, then I will also have to find and fund:
The GP WW TC.
The Chopard Traveler.
And probably the Vacheron, too...
You see? Pandora's box!

I am also deeply passionate about WT's
1. Most beautiful and able to handle daily, business, wear: PP 5110P or P5130P which are my two favourites (you have one already)
2. Most technical one which can also take sporty activity: VC Overseas WT
3. Low(er) cost version to use anytime anywhere: Orbis Terrarum or JLC Geophysic UT
I think with the first two you can cover all angles, but if you want more, then I would vote for the JLC (or the Montblanc).
The Chopard is too busy unfortunately imho.

It survived a slew of world timer rivals in 2015
Montblanc Orbis Terrarum survived and sales surpassed a raft of similar products at that time e.g. Vacheron et Constantin Traditionelle, JLC Geophysic UT, Baume & Mercier Worldtimer, Patek Philippe ref.5130.
Based on some of it's advantages, it is a contender to be considered even 3 years after launch.
However, as others have pointed out, it lacks some features that are logical for a real world timer.
1) A date display is mandatory for crossing International Date Lines; those who say otherwise do not offer a date display on their watches!
There are not many haute Horlogerie automatic wind world timers with date display, running seconds hand and weekend-long power reserve.
2) The lack of a seconds hand is a double edged sword:
- Not having one makes it easy to manufacture and no need to obsess about precision time setting
- After thousands of miles travel across multiple time zones, a few seconds off is not a big deal; nobody misses their aeroplane or ship by seconds!
3) The thinner case that people are asking for does not affect time keeping but the frequent traveller would appreciate it for ease of wear under a suit sleeve.
- After all, most people travel internationally on business.
- Also, frequent travellers realise the dangers to your watch from cramped conditions, even if you are in the upper classes of cabins
Not to mention vicious elevator doors....

Overall, the Montblanc Orbis Terrarum has been a popular watch with PURISTSPRO readers and the watch lover community in general.

L.U.C Time Traveler One was not available back in 2015 so I omitted it
You are correct that it is the L.U.C Time Traveler One is the only current automatic haute Horlogerie world timer with date display and 60-hour power reserve.
So, you can lay it down to rest on the bedside table on Friday evening and on Monday morning, it is still running for the work week.
But this is a Montblanc forum.....hehehe.
