I have been lying low for a while, contemplating my next important acquisition...
A few days ago, I finally pulled the trigger - it's a piece I have been craving for - the Lange 1 Tourbillon in pink gold.
A manually-wound timepiece with date and power reserve indication, the watch was launched in a limited edition of 250 almost 10 years ago. I was fortunate enough to acquire one in mint condition (a safe queen, literally).
Let the pictures speak:

A similar piece was featured in a recent auction:

Hope you like the pictures.
PS. a shame that I missed the Purist meeting

to your superb collection. That Lange group shot is amazing!
Thanks for sharing,
Andreas
after your hiatus! Was worried you had lost your way.
Well, this is a worthy addition to your already phenomenal Lange collection. It's the logical next step and somehow I had a feeling you would go for this one (but in honeygold)

The honey-colored gold was indeed on my mind but since I could not get the same number as the 1815 MP, I might as well get the older version of the tourbillon - which wasn't a huge difference IMHO.
Have yet to figure out what's next

Your new Lange 1 is incredibly elegant ... I guess you'll spend hours admiring the tourbillon, excellent choice among all the beautiful Lange 1 I think !
The difficulty to choose the one we prefer in your collection is a really tough task ... sorry, I give up !

Mark
IMHO and a very strong DNA asthetically...but don't get me wrong, I do enjoy other brands like PP, FPJ, VC and a couple more.
If you are interested, feel free to check out my earlier posts for their pictures. Here is an earlier group photo of a few 'independents', for instance
Recognize all of them?

Enjoy the catch, you must be absolutely delighted!

I especially enjoy the white gold version because of the gray dial. It is one of my favorites, if not the favorite...
