Here's a group shot of some of the Lange watches present. We missed a few here and there.
There are actually 5 different case metals here... can anyone guess what all of them are?

left of the picture looks like a prototype from the baseplate - the case might therefore be steel.

Just a guess.  Nice collection BTW.

has a white gold case but has a dummy movement for display purposes. There's another watch that has a case metal other than gold or platinum.

I wonder what you would call a collective group of Lange & Sohne timpieces????

and the little pusher under the crown for setting the hands, I'm almost sure it is a converted pocket watch movement.

I've seen that watch in person and the owner is a very discerning collector.

It's a vintage Lange pocket watch with the original dial recased in a wristwatch.
The case work is very fine and the resulting watch is stunning.

Langes and some nice  specials

Number 4 from the left is in steel (Ref. 101.026) and on the far right we see much more than just a simple marriage with a pocket watch movement. Look at the case ;-)

Magnificent watches and great photo Allen!

Saw some many impressive pieces for the first time; Classic A. Lange, Lange One Tourbillon, 1815 Thousand year moonphase (I'm moonstruck by this one), a very special steel Lange One (I like this one more than a platinum one), a clean 1815 Chrono, and (still) my absolute favorite the Richard Lange Pour Le Merite.

A very enjoyable evening indeed!

would have thought there would be a lange 1 moonphase in that group.....

I felt lucky to be a part.  Watches, food, and company of fellow Lange-philes was first class all the way.  So much passion for Lange watches in an intimate setting.  Also very nice to spend time with some Lange executives, from whom it is easy to sense the passion and attention to detail that set Lange apart.

Some impressions of the Zeitwerk--surprisingly nice fit on the wrist for a large/thick watch.  Design like nothing else. Have to say  I was not too impressedpreviously in pics, but was very impressed in person.  And a watch more legible than any other for telling time--easy to snaek a glance at the time without staring at your wrist.  Much more interested in this watch than I expected.  The whole evening certainly reinforced my love for the brand.
