For me, the Emil Lange. A tad smaller, but its dial sings louder to me.

2011 for me.
I'm a sucker for guilloché, and with ALS, I presume it to be hand-turned.
I’d happily take either
A favorite Lange. And somewhat less Germanic in austerity. I need to give up watch collecting. Every time I think I’m done, I see another piece that goes on the list.
Both are very nice Langes. My choice is the Honey Gold.
The 2011 is slightly bigger, slightly thicker and a bit "beefier" than the Emil.
All 1815 mp are such romantic Langes.

Do I ever get to wear it? Like…I’ve been allowed maybe twice. 😒
She now only wears this ALS and her first good watch, an AP ROO, (purple rubber chrono with diamond bezel). Keep telling her to just give me the Cartiers and Rolexes and JLCs but nope.
Oh, and surprisingly, the guilloché work isn’t actually by hand. Or so I read somewhere. But you would never be able to tell.

I don't know about the guilloché made by hand. I would bet machine... 6-2 for the 2011.
It is by machine (or that’s what I remember)
But it’s so good 1) you can’t really tell and 2) perhaps it doesn’t matter.
Which brings us back to the debate about PF’s current line of Tonda watches - if these 1815s were somehow stamped rather than properly engine-turned, there’s every possibility the same is true of the Tondas. And while I’d like them to all be done by hand, well…I’d still take any of them!
