Years ago, this Lange board game was given to certain salespeople (from ADs, boutiques, etc.) who attended Lange trainings (so you may see a person's name printed or engraved somewhere on the game). The game was used as a fun way to help salespeople learn about the brand and also test their knowledge using the trivia questions in the card deck.
Sounds like a sensible explanation. Trust a sales person to flog their training tools.... [nt]
