Has anyone had one as a daily wearer and haven't had problems? Everyone I know who had one seems to have problems. Either stoppage, misaligned discs, or some other problem.
If you tell me, I don’t consider misaligned discs as a problem as it’s always very subtle and not obvious and the other competitors (FPJ Vagabondage II and III and DeWitt Mathematical. I didn’t handle the IWC Pallweber) have the same “problem”.

You have the Zeitwerk cufflinks. So cool! I was close to pull the trigger recently as I found a pair on eBay but the asking price was insane.
Kept full found and wore consistently without any issues or mis-fires. Simple always wins in the long run, a wonderful accompaniment to an established collection.
I've had a ZW Striking Time for 5.5 years. When I first got it, it stopped running prematurely on a few occasions. Lange fixed it quickly, under warranty of course, and the problem never recurred -- zero issues since then. This happened when the Striking Time was a brand new release, so it wasn't a tried-and-true movement at that point. Because I never had any subsequent problems and wore the watch pretty frequently, I consider it to be a reliable workhorse of a movement. Over the years, I've had to return other new Langes for one-time warranty repairs for various minor quality control reasons (sometimes mechanical, sometimes cosmetic), so my experience with the ZW ST isn't so anomalous.
Got it. Thanks CR. I had a Striking Time, but I never wore it outside of an hour at home before finding it to be too big for me. I still think about it. [nt]
Yes, hit my wristbone too, and chafing from the strap. Even the standard one his the wristbone. And you have to strap it fairly tight due to the weight and size of the piece and narrow strap. [nt]
Had my Zeitwerk (white gold) for seven months.. it works perfectly.. no misaligned discs or stoppage.. however, I do notice one thing: the minute disc switches at the 59th second. For the first two months, it switched perfectly at the 60th second.. I hope the "issue" would not worsen to the 58th second, 57th second.. etc.. otherwise I would have to send it in for servicing..
I'd love to hear one in person sometime. I remember very well the reporting...

... when the ZW MR was first released. At that time (SIHH 2015 I think), everyone was very disappointed with the sound. Many said that it was too soft and that Lange shouldn't have released this watch until it sounded better. Then, about a year later I think, others heard it after Lange had adjusted the sound, and people said the ZW MR sounded far better. The silliest and strangest thing is that several years ago, Lange sent around a prototype of the ZW MR with a blocked (non-working) movement, so you could look at it but not hear it, which totally defeats the purpose. It's difficult to appreciate a minute repeater with a blocked movement. It's like trying to appreciate a museum object by reading its little explanatory placard when the object itself is absent and temporarily replaced with a "REMOVED FOR RESEARCH" tag.
