Breguet

Just got this today, my bad pictures do not do it justice.  This is a really cool watch. Thank to VC Moderator Bill for helping me acquire the 7727 and the Hora Mundi

I have become a big fan of Breguet's combination of innovative materials and technology with classic watchmaking techniques and styling.  I love the silicon escapement, high frequency, and magnetic pivots along with the engine turned dial and coin edged case.  I also like the absence of a date function, which I imagine you like as well   The 41mm diameter and thin case make it very comfortable as well.

Congrats on the two wonderful watches!  Not only are they drop dead beautiful, but both are highly innovative timepieces which are unmatched by anyone else in the industry.  The Chronometrie breaks entirely new ground with its patented magnetic suspension of the balance wheel.  And even the balance wheel itself is innovative with its two creatively designed silicium spirals.  As for the Hora Mundi, no other watch offers shows two time zones in this creative way.  One set of hands and a mechanical memory that allows the owner to toggle between any two time zones at the push of a button and to change the time zones by rotating the button.  With these two watches, Breguet has really made a powerful statement about the creativity and talent of its movement designers.

I have not seen the 7727 in person yet.  But that movement is extraordinary.
