Breguet

hi folks,

I had the rare opportunity to shoot an amazing Bréguet souscription pocket watche from 1798,  during a preview at  auction house for their next sale in Paris on the 26th of april: enjoy !

It is made of silver (i suppose !) and pink gold , the dial is of course made of enamel.

I more and more begin to think about a Vintage Type XX...And your picture doesn't help to forget.

The museum bought type XX with the chocolate dial (lot 140) for 78 000 € (excluding the premium) and two other fantastic type XX: one "Marine Nationale" kind (lot 146) from 1960 for 32 000 € (excl premium) and the last one a type XX (lot 154) from 1971 for 32 000€ as well.

I do not know if lot 144 was bought: last bid was 440 000  !

A private collector bought the great Souscription (lot 160) for 22 000 € (excl premium).

Would Paris be back as the Bréguet's watches home ?
