With Alfihar we had an appointment with Mr Emmanuel Breguet himself and we had the pleasure to take some photos of some watches.
Here is the Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7035 250th Collection.
The good point is the case size: Well done, the 37 mm diameter. For such a watch I am not far from thinking it is the ideal size.
Then, the superb enamel grand feu guilloché blue dial: Exquisite.
The downside,? The case thickness... 12, 6 mm. 2 mm thinner would have been better, in my opinion.
The mixed feeling? The automatic movement. I prefer manual winding movements, especially for such a watch. BUT the rotor is nicely shaped, reminding the first Breguet rotors.
As for a comparison, here is Marie Antoinette's watch ( the perfect re edition ) I could see at the Manufacture in 2019... Same rotor ( different size, though ).
That Tradition is one of my favorite watch from the 175th Anniversary collection. The other one which intrigued me a lot was the " Souscription ". I will come back to it, even if I didn't have the time to take some photos of it.
Best,
Nicolas
