Breguet Empire with Peseux 260 calibre
Hello all,
For many years I have had the pleasure to read, learn and see some fantastic pieces on this forum. As I was a new collector back then, I hesitated to participate in the discussions. Since I want to engage more actively on this forum, I figured it was time to write a brief introduction. I am a young collector from the Netherlands, with a passion for hand-turned guilloche dials. What better way to start off on this forum with a piece that I recently managed to pick up, the fabulous Breguet in empire case with the Peseux 260 calibre inside. This example is in mint condition, finding another one like it is going to be extremely difficult. Photo's don't do this piece justice! My photoskills is something I still need to work on...

These older Breguet,s are gaining a lot of attention lately and looking at your pics i can see why.
I also had the pleasure to play with one of the older models a few days ago at a small GTG. This one belongs to my friend and fellow collector .

Breguet chronographs
These Breguet chronographs from the early '80s are absolutely wonderful indeed, and one that I would also like to own one day (in white gold).

Got to love those fat Breguet hands
I bought the attached watch about two years ago but regrettably sold it. It was an automatic, extra flat. Watch was perhaps manufactured during the beginning of Chaumet ownership.
Love those fat hands in sort of grayish color not blued, dial was gold tinted, no serial number on the dial.
Kicking myself for getting rid of it.
