Greetings all. I haven't seen much by way of reference to this watch, which remains a "go-to" for me - it just works for so many different occasions, and the platinum version has a quiet elegance, at least as I see it!

I appreciate the kind comments: some watches wow at the start and then less so over time: this one surprised me - I find myself wearing it often and with real pleasure.

I would normally agree (no need to rehearse here the endless comments about the date window in another Breguet Classique - I used to own it). But with great respect for your expertise and taste, I disagree in this instance. Without the date window. the dial would be too empty and lack balance. In the original model of this regulator, the date was at 3 o'clock and it was clearly in the wrong place. At six o'clock, in my view, everything is well situated and there is just the right amount "going on" to create a harmonious whole.
Well in this case, you just have to put the oval " ring " Breguet N 1531 at 6 o clock et voilà. ;)
