We humans have eyes that include the whites so you can easlity see where the person is looking....other animals do not show the whites, making it more difficult to see what they are looking at.

Do we know why some watches were given the 4 digit Ethed number while most others got the 7 Digit engraved SN? Maybe a production problem caused some to be shunted aside?

The Alarm is set with the lower stem winder. While the stem is pushed in against the case, turn the stem to wind the alarm function. May take as many as 30 to 40 turns. To move the Alarm hand to the desired hour, pull the stem out and turn BACKWARDS....
