Watch condition : This is a very special timepiece.  The watch is still of very good condition.  There are few faint hairlines on the sides of the case and a short little scratch at the corner of the crystal on the left hand side. Its dark brown leather strap is about 90% new.

Description : The back of the watch, not visible while on the wrist, contains three separate display fields under sapphire glass.  This is the watch's control center.  It has hands for the seconds & for a 15-minute revolution to set the time.  The truly gigantic crown at the top of the watch case is used to load the main winding system with its 42-hour power reserve.  Another innovation is the 103's unique precision adjustment function. Next to the seconds display one finds a fine regulating screw with engraved subdivisions.  It allows to tweak the watch forward or backward 30 seconds in a 24-hour period.  A precision coupling links this device directly to the watch's own regulating organ, thus ensuring safe handling.
