Description

This discontinued model of Patek Philippe watch was launched in 1999 and is powered by Patek Philippe’s Calibre 240 PS IRM CLU self-winding movement. Other moonphase watches deviate from a astronomical reality by one full-day every 2 ½ year. However, Patek Philippe’s 5054 deviates by a full-day only after the elapse of 122 years and 45 days. The slim movement has a 22K micro-rotor, Geveva wave decoration, Gyromax balance and it bears the Hallmark of Geneva Seal. This movement is considered by many as one of the most beautiful automatic movements in the market. The watch comes with an extract from Patek Philippe Archieves evidencing it was sold by Patek Philippe in December, 1999 and the latest Patek Philippe servicing paper (dated Dec. 2010). My price for this beautiful discontinued timepiece is US$24,500.

📖 About This Reference

**Patek Philippe Reference 5054** The Patek Philippe 5054 represents a distinctive entry in the manufacturer's collection, characterized by its officer's case back with hinged cover design. Produced from 1993 to 2005, this reference occupied a specific position within the brand's lineup during this twelve-year production period. The 5054 features a 36mm case available in either 18k yellow gold or 18k white gold, fitted with a smooth bezel and sapphire crystal. The watch houses the automatic Caliber 315 SC movement, providing 48 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 30 meters, and the watch is completed with a leather strap. This reference appeals to collectors who appreciate the traditional officer's case configuration with its protective hinged caseback cover. The 36mm case size and precious metal construction position the 5054 within the dress watch category. The twelve-year production span from 1993 to 2005 provides collectors with availability in both gold options, making it accessible to those seeking either yellow or white gold variants.

This is not a contest… 😉
I am not trying to compare and ask which one is better, just sharing my happiness that today is full moon and enjoying the beauty of each of these PP pc… The best decision I have ever taken is when I decided to implement my « less is more » strategy. Step by step I go one step further and gradually

PP Newbie Advice / thoughts, please.
Hi folks. Virgin PP buyer looking for opinions, please! These are in the order I like, rather than what might be the better investment; All are broadly similar in price at circa 15-20k currently I love the Travel Time 5134, likely in P variant. They were only made for 5 years and the P is obviously

Perpetual Chronograph query
I have been looking perpetual calendars to complement my collection. I have looked carefully at the 5140 in all metals. I like the watch very much. However, in the last week or so the 3970 has caught my attention. My AD has 3 of them in stock which I assume he has taken in on trade. I like the balan

Patek Philippe 5054G
This is a real neat watch in 36mm. Fits my small wrists perfectly. I love the dial and movement. Do not see these much.

5059J vs. 5159J movement and wrist presence.
Hello my fellow purists. I am in the hunt for a perpetual calendar. In speaking with another forum member who is quite knowledgeable on the subject he mentioned the 5059. I owned the 5054 15 years ago and loved the officers case and look on the wrist. It is an intriguing watch. Unique which is why I

5170G vs. 5159G
Happy New Year to all. I have a minor dilemma. I purchased a 5170G 3 weeks ago to go with my 5146R and 5110J. For some reason I am having trouble bonding with it. The 5170G does not give me the same feeling as the other 2 Patek references when I wear it. I am not sure why; Perhaps it is because it i
